Acrylic on 250lb Bockingford watercolor paperI am really happy with the way the bowl turned out. I painted the bowl in a watercolor technique of thin glazes of color and dipping the brush in clean water to fade out the color. The background and grapes were painted with thick paint.
I really have to get a different yellow. I just can't seem to get the super bright greens and yellows that I am looking for with the yellows I have on hand. Adding white to the yellow makes it chalky looking.
